Currently, we are looking for a versatile Product Owner for our DevSecOps teams within our card acquiring platform. In this position, you will be a senior member of a skilled agile team responsible for running and maintaining the services developed by the team! As Product Owner you have a significant role in maximizing the value produced by the team and ensuring deliverables meet the user’s needs and comply with the Definition of Done – you are the Voice of the Customer understating the needs and the processes of the business we should serve.


Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Our autonomous agile teams work with a strong DevSecOps culture. This means that you are responsible for defining epics and stories and prioritizing the team backlogs to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for your team.
  • As a bridge between the customer, product management and your DevSecOps team you are involved in the program roadmap, vision, refinement and preparations for program Increments.
  • With input from team members and other stakeholders, the Product Owner has the primary responsibility for building, editing, and maintaining the team backlog including epics and stories but also defects and enablers.
  • As Product Owner you review and reprioritizes the backlog as part of the preparation for the recurring sprint planning event, including coordination of dependencies with others. During the sprint planning event, you communicate story detail and priorities and ensures that your team aligns and agrees on a final sprint objective.
  • Work with your team on accepted story completion. This includes validating that the story meets acceptance criteria, that it has the appropriate, persistent acceptance tests, and that it otherwise complies with its Definition of Done (DoD). In so doing, the you will also assure a level of quality, focusing primarily on fitness for use.
  • Participate in other agile ceremonies like daily standups, and demos

Skills we can’t do without:

  • A few years of previous experience from working in a similar role as product owner such as business analyst, developer, process developer or project manager
  • Good understanding of both the business and technical domain
  • It is considered an advantage if you have
    • relevant experience from card acquiring processes like card schemes, authorization and captures and clearing settlement processes.
    • And/Or Anti Money Laundring (AML) and related processes.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering or another meaningful field
  • Fluency in English and Swedish

Skills we’d like:

  • A good understanding of software development and quality assurance principles
  • While you are not expected to drive technological decisions, you are supposed to understand the scope of the upcoming technical enabler work and collaborate with Architects and your team to assist with decision-making and sequencing of the critical technological infrastructures that will host the services developed and maintained by your team.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps agile ways of working and culture including fostering the DevSecOps culture, automation, lean flow, measurement, and recovery.
  • Having a curious mindset, continuously learning and sharing your knowledge with your peers and others.
