In the role as Underwriting Agent, you will help our customers join Bambora with excellent service without putting our compliance aside. We put great pride into giving our customers the best possible start, it should be quick and easy to get started. We aim to get it right the first time! The successful candidate is one who stands out with a solution-oriented mindset and passion for collaborating with colleagues across departments and national boundaries. It is important that you are service minded and clear in your communication, both internally and externally. We believe that you are skilled with the computer as your main work tool.


Any experience of working with AML compliance or risk assessment is meriting. Previous experience from the payments or financial industry is also a plus, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities with the role

  • Performing underwriting of new and existing customers, which entails KYC, risk and compliance assessments
  • Be a vital part of our lead-to-live journey
  • Liase and advise sales and KAM colleagues



We are looking for a self-starter whose key capabilities include:

  • Truly flexible: able to shift tasks and priorities in a big way at the drop of a hat
  • Creative and process-driven: you're constantly looking for ways to make things work more efficiently
  • An excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with a seamless blend of professionalism and friendliness



  • College level education
  • Analytical mindset
  • Communication skills – orally as well as written– in Swedish and English
  • Proven work experience where your superb service skills and attention to details were demonstrated



  • Communication skills in German, Norwegian, Danish and/or Finnish is an advantage
  • Previous experience from the payment world, risk assessment or other high paced operational environment or analytical work
