We are looking for a self-motivated, analytical, innovative team member who can work well independently and as leader. The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role on designing and implementing internal controls for the North American Region (NAR) and managing the accounting functions and month end close process for the USA region.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing and implement internal controls for the NAR region
- Manage the monthly consolidation financial process from SAP to BFC
- Ensure month end close and reporting processes are completed within established deadlines and with a high level of accuracy
- Preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule and in accordance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
- Monthly cash management and forecasting
- Manage YE and interim audit with external audit firm and tax audits (income tax, sales and use tax, etc.)
- Managing inventory accounting
- Risk detection, analysis, measurement, and mitigation
- Lead and/or contribute on initiatives to improve business performance
- Coach, manage, develop, and motivate team members to perform their duties on a efficient manner
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has supervisory responsibilities and supervises the Accounting team.
Required Education / Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 3-6 years of audit background experience with a Big 4 public accounting
- 2-4 years of experience in for profit organization
- Candidate must possess experience in designing and implementing internal controls
- Project Management sills
- CPA preferred
- SAP knowledge

The person in this position frequently communicates with both internal and external clients. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

This job operates in a clerical, office setting.
