Scope

 

As a Product Owner, you will interact day by day with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, UX/UI designers, and architects to define and analyze features with a customer-centric mindset.

 

You will be responsible for the team backlog: definition of User Stories and enablers, refinement, and prioritization of the work to do.

You will also be responsible for the quality of the product delivered and work closely with the QA of the team and the end-to-end testers.

 

You will synchronize with other Product Owners and Product Managers, from different countries, under the SAFe methodology to raise dependencies and align the teams on the Product Increment objectives.

You will participate in enhancing the ways of working by sharing your experience and best practices.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Define and analyze the features of the program backlog with the PM, the engineering manager and the architect
  • Write customer-centric User Stories and work with the Agile team to refine them
  • Ensure the product increment delivered matches the quality needed
  • Be the product specialist and key representative of the product for business and functional teams
  • Support the customers in production and sales/pre-sales teams
  • Support the QA and contribute to the software quality and the test strategy
  • Support the architect and participate in the design of the solution architecture
  • Demonstrate the product increment in system demos
  • Work with other PO and PM to align the objectives

 

 

Experience / Skills

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with a significant experience as a product owner
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into understandable requirements, value statements, and business outcomes
  • Good ability to communicate clearly with Developers, QA and architects whilst understanding the concerns of each to design and best-in-class solutions
  • Good understanding of openAPI specifications
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
  • Autonomy and rigor
  • Good adaptability and ability to grow in a fast-changing environment
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Excellent English skills
  • Past experience in an international context is preferred
  • Agile product owner certifications (CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, etc.) preferred
