Chief Accountant

Ingenico is looking for a Chief Accountant based in our Warsaw, Poland office.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Manage the overall accounting function by establishing and enforcing all accounting policies and procedures related to general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting
• Supervise month end closing process and complying with groups monthly/quarterly and annual Financial reporting requirements
• Monitor all financial transactions according to company policies and regulations
• Supervise preparation of Statutory Financial Statements - Assures compliance with local and corporate policies, regulations and laws (IFRS and local Accounting Standards in PL, CZ, HU)
• Supervisise the  preparation of CIT computation and VAT declarations in 3 countries (PL, CZ, HU)
• Coordinate the preparation of local Transfer Pricing files & Withholding tax documentation 
• Coordinate the preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting in 3 legal entities (PL, CZ, HU)
• Coordinate the preparation of SAF-T (JPK, VDEK) reporting to the tax authorities in Poland

Skills we can’t do without:

• A strong academic background: Finance and Controlling degree
• Strong accounting experience as Senior Accountant or Chief Accountant
• You follow internal audit and internal controls with local teams
• You possess analytical and problem solving skills
• You are advanced in Excel, user or you are key user in SAP
• You have professional proficiency with English
