As the Digital QA Lead, you’ll be responsible for driving the QA strategy for Digital across all squads and growing the awesome Digital QA team to deliver quality solutions for our customers. This role isn’t solely focussed on QA, but as part of the Digital leadership team you will be hands on, working with all your peers across Product & Technology to focus on the entire delivery and operational cycle, looking at how we evolve the QA practises alongside the other disciplines. We’re focussed on agile software development and a continuous delivery approach. But the right candidate has the balance of continual improvement of both the QA and delivery processes as well as developing the great agile mindset within the QA and wider Digital team – jointly owning our outcome of quality products.

You will be someone who has experience improving software quality and delivery and who can and has led a motivated team. You’ll not only have people management and leadership experience, but also a passion for developing people and their potential.

You also need to be aware of risks and be able to take action and put in place appropriate controls when needed.

You’ll have a strong track record of software testing and quality assurance. You’ll know when to implement, and insist on, best practices but also know when it makes more sense to break from tradition, as well as being familiar with testing in an agile environment.
