The People & Talent Specialist (Sr. HR Specialist) in Victoria, BC will have responsiblity for overseeing human resources activities, providing business support, maintaining engagement, and delivering HR activities locally.

 

What you’ll do:

Who you are:

  • You have a degree in human resource management or similar.
  • You have between 2-3 years of HR experience. Bonus points if you have experience in a high-tech environment.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of employment law Canada wide; specifically British Columbia.
  • You have experience working with leaves, performance management, and accommodations in BC/Canada.
  • You have experience conducting full cycle recruitment efforts and know the importance of talent acquisition in our modern organizations.
  • You have a passion for diversity and inclusion. You’re ready to make this an area of focus and are truly interested in fostering more inclusive and diverse workplaces.
  • You have a natural aptitude towards coaching. You’re always there for people, and you’ve been noticed for it in the past.
  • You’re a self-starter, with sky high levels of initiative and motivation.
