JOB PURPOSE/MISSION:

Execute sourcing activities & procedures for purchasing products and services, addressing the requests of all regional departments, and ensuring compliance with the company's processes and policies.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Regional point of contact for all business indirect purchase needs.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for various indirect products and/or services.
  • Ability to manage multiple sourcing categories: professional services, IT, field operations, real estate, sub6contractors, ..
  • Deploy, manage, and assist the requestors throughout the global procurement process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure business continuity.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service with suppliers to secure the best deals for the company.
  • Identify opportunities in the portfolio to ensure the delivery of the procurement's financial goals.
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) of local Procurement activities and other metrics to local business management and global head of procurement.
  • Ensure the global sourcing process and procedures are communicated and applied throughout the acquisition flow.
  • Strong connection with global category managers to ensure the overall strategy is effectively deployed.
  • Monitor market conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and best practices and investigate potential new suppliers.
  • Promote and lead planning in the areas to anticipate negotiations and avoid urgencies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the procurement of the acquisition of products and/or services.
  • Support the follow-up process for contracting bid services, coordinating the involved parties: legal, supplier, finance, and internal client.
  • Anticipate contract termination to benchmark, renegotiate, and improve conditions.
  • Participate in the development of Procurement strategies to enhance Ingenico's operations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams on procurement projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop suppliers by implementing strategies that create business partners.

  • Numerical analysis skills.
  • Ability to meet administrative processes: forecasting, planning, execution, direction, and control.
  • General knowledge of commercial law.
  • Knowledge of strategic sourcing and negotiation models.

Languages:

  • English fluent
  • Spanish is a plus

 

 

Education Qualifications / Experience Requirements:            

  • Bachelor’s in Business or similar
  • 5 years of experience in similar jobs

 

 

Computer/IT Skills:

  • Excel intermediate
  • SAP - MM

 

 

Supervisory Responsibility:  yes, small team max 3.

Travel:  20%  travel is expected for this position.
