Finance Manager
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:

Prepare, calculate, and analyze detailed variances to provide accurate, timely, and insightful commentary on financial performance for assigned cost centers.

Responsible for monthly, timely, and accurate variance analysis between budget vs forecast in TM1.

Lead and support annual budget process and forecasts (3+9, monthly rolling forecast). Assist with validation and checks to ensure data integrity.

Partner with assigned key stakeholders to understand results and recommend actions to improve our performance.

Generating and communicating internal management reporting, including actual to budget/forecast and business metrics.

Support accounting month-end close closing by providing timely and accurate journal entries with adequate supporting documentation.

Analyzing month-end data incl. P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, quantity sold, average prices, headcount and other KPIs.

Assist with internal and external auditors.

Complete special projects and prepare ad hoc analysis as needed, and other duties as assigned.
Competencies / Skills Requirements:
- SAP- Preferred
- Intermediate/advanced Excel knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Multi-dimensional reporting systems such as TM1, BFC, or others, preferred
- Strong leadership and excellent analytical skills
- Ability to drive and conduct large meetings
- Ability to manage large amounts of data
- Dynamic and accurate
- Discretion
- Knowledge of French would be beneficial but not required
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other financial analysts in the department.
Required Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA), required
- 4+ years of financial planning and analysis experience
- Knowledge of IFRS, preferred but not required
- CPA and CMA preferred
Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position throughout 75% of the day. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. This position requires the constant operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. The person in this position frequently communicates with both internal and external clients. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

This job operates in a professional office environment.
