ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

 

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Warehouse Operations Manager to lead all aspects of our warehouse operations at the Shilo facility. This role plays a critical part in transforming and elevating warehouse standards driving greater efficiency, safety, and automation across receiving, storage, inventory, and shipping operations.

 

You’ll manage a team of experienced warehouse professionals, many with over a decade in the organization. Success in this role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to inspire and guide teams through change while maintaining high operational performance.

 

This is an on-site position located at our warehouse at 6190 Shiloh Rd E, Suite B, Alpharetta, GA 30005.

 

 

 WHAT YOU’LL DO

 

  • Lead End-to-End Operations: Oversee all warehouse functions, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, safety compliance, and logistics.
  • Drive Transformation: Modernize warehouse processes, implement automation initiatives, and optimize space utilization for better flow and capacity.
  • Elevate Standards: Strengthen procedures around safety, quality, storage control, and packaging to meet world-class operational benchmarks.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse employees, building engagement, accountability, and adaptability.
  • Operational Planning: Manage resources, scheduling, and workload to meet SLAs, repair, and delivery commitments.
  • Systems & Reporting: Use SAP and other tools to ensure accurate inventory management, reporting, and performance tracking.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify, lead, and support projects that enhance functionality, efficiency, and cost control.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with logistics, finance, customer service, and quality teams to ensure operational alignment and success.
  • Financial Management: Oversee warehouse budget, including labor, equipment, and operational expenses, ensuring efficient cost management. 

 

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

 

  • Experience: 5+ years managing warehouse or distribution center operations within logistics, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead experienced teams through change, build trust, and inspire continuous improvement.
  • Systems Expertise: Solid working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Operational Excellence: Strong understanding of warehouse layout optimization, automation, inventory control, and safety standards.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage with all levels of the organization and external partners.
  • Problem Solver: Analytical and solutions-oriented, with a track record of improving productivity and implementing successful process changes.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced environments; able to balance hands-on leadership with strategic thinking.
  • Industry Knowledge: Background in logistics, distribution, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing preferred.
