ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

 

As a Social Media Manager you’ll join a highly collaborative, global marketing team that’s passionate about building a bold, modern brand and pushing the boundaries of how Ingenico shows up in the market. This role works closely with regional teams across EMEA, the Americas, and APAC, as well as Product, PR, and Communications, giving you real influence and visibility across the organization. It’s an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, strategic social media leader to own the channel end to end, shape the global narrative of a fast-evolving payments and technology company, and see their work drive meaningful brand impact and business results.

 

 

 WHAT YOU’LL DO

 

 

Strategy & Direction

  • Define and execute Ingenico’s global social media strategy, aligned with brand vision, business objectives, and evolving platform trends.
  • Establish clear platform-specific approaches for LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Instagram, and Facebook, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and visual identity.
  • Partner with global and regional marketing stakeholders in EMEA, Americas and APAC to ensure social media supports broader brand, demand generation, and communication goals.
  • Act as the point of accountability for prioritization—focusing effort where it drives the greatest impact.
  • Own social media as a business lever, translating Ingenico’s enterprise payments strategy into content that builds category leadership, influences buyer perception, and supports demand generation.

 

 

Content & Execution

  • Personally create, publish, and manage high-quality, original social content, including copy, visuals, and video, optimized for each platform.
  • Own the global social media calendar, balancing always-on brand storytelling with campaign-driven and tactical content.
  • Translate complex topics (payments, technology, innovation) into clear, engaging social narratives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, PR, Marketing) and creative partners to source ideas and assets while maintaining editorial control.

 

 

Campaigns & Programs

  • Execute integrated social media campaigns supporting awareness, engagement, and demand generation objectives.
  • Adapt global campaigns for social-first execution while ensuring relevance across regions.
  • Lead and grow an employee advocacy program, enabling employees to amplify Ingenico’s message authentically on social media.

 

 

Measurement & Optimization

  • Define KPIs and success metrics for social media performance across platforms.
  • Track performance using analytics and social listening tools, translating data into insights and optimization recommendations.
  • Deliver regular performance updates to stakeholders, highlighting outcomes, learnings, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure best practices in tracking, including UTM tagging and audience insight collection.

 

 

Collaboration & Enablement

  • Serve as Ingenico’s subject matter expert on social media best practices and platform evolution.
  • Partner with regional teams to enable local participation while maintaining global brand consistency.
  • Provide guidance and lightweight training to internal stakeholders participating in social or advocacy initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with PR and communications teams to align social media with broader messaging and campaigns.

 

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

  • 5–7+ years of hands-on social media experience, ideally within B2B technology, fintech, or payments, where storytelling and credibility truly matter.
  • A proven track record of owning and scaling global social media channels from strategy to execution with clear impact on brand and engagement.
  • Deep expertise in LinkedIn and YouTube, paired with strong working knowledge of X, Instagram, and Facebook; curiosity for emerging platforms is a big plus.
  • Exceptional storytelling and copywriting skills, with a sharp eye for visuals and video that stop the scroll and bring complex topics to life.
  • Strong command of social analytics and performance measurement, including reporting, paid amplification, and social listening to continuously optimize results.
  • A strategic thinker who loves to execute, equally comfortable setting direction and rolling up your sleeves to make things happen.
  • A confident, collaborative partner who can influence and align stakeholders across global, cross-functional teams.
