JOB PURPOSE/MISSION:
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs, evaluating payment solutions, and recommending strategies to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to define requirements, ensure the successful implementation of payment terminal solutions, and drive improvements to meet the evolving demands of the payments industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for development and implementation teams.
- Work with project managers, product owners, scrum master to create project plans, define scope, and set priorities for the development.
- Assist in the creation of test plans and ensure proper testing
- Work closely with customers and vendors to identify pain points and develop solutions to enhance product usability and reliability
- Participate in business requirements review sessions with the peers and business users
SKILLS/COMPETENCY SPECIFICATION
Competency/Skill Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid understanding of the payment lifecycle on software integration and transaction processing.
- Proficiency with business analysis tools such as Confluence and JIRA
Special Requirements:
- Experience in the payment industry
- Experience with Automation testing
- Knowledge of payment standards (EMV, NFC, ISO 8583, etc.)
- Behaviour skills:
- Focus on getting things done
- Good communication towards both internal and external stakeholders
Languages:
- Fluent English required
Education Qualifications / Experience Requirements:
- 5+-yr experience
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering
