Position Summary
We are looking for a Junior Service Center Repair Engineer to support repair technicians and service center operations in our Bydgoszcz service center. This entry‑level role is ideal for candidates at the beginning of their engineering or technical career who want to develop hands‑on repair skills, gain exposure to service center processes, and grow into more advanced technical or engineering roles over time. The position combines basic technical troubleshooting with administrative and support activities, with strong guidance and mentoring provided by senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day technical support to repair technicians for standard and recurring repair issues.
- Assist with first‑level troubleshooting and escalate more complex problems to senior engineers when needed.
- Support repair documentation, work orders, and system updates related to repair activities.
- Help maintain accurate records of repairs, parts usage, and test results.
- Participate in process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting practical improvements.
- Assist senior engineers with data collection, basic analysis, and reporting related to repair performance.
- Follow established repair procedures, safety rules, and quality standards.
- Support audit preparation by gathering documentation and following defined audit processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the service center to ensure smooth daily operations.
Required Qualifications - Technical diploma or degree (or current student/final-year student) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- No prior professional experience required.
- Academic projects, laboratory work, student competitions, personal technical projects, internships, apprenticeships, or vocational training are welcomed.
- Strong interest in electronics repair, troubleshooting, and technology.
- Basic understanding of electronic components and circuits gained through education or personal projects.
- Interest in learning electronic fault diagnosis, repair techniques, and testing procedures.
- Willingness to learn and work with repair tools, measurement equipment, and testing devices.
- Basic computer literacy; familiarity with Microsoft Office or technical software is an advantage but not required.
- Polish – fluent
- English – working level (ability to read technical documentation and communicate in a professional environment)
Nice to have qualifications
- Educational exposure to electronic devices, embedded systems, consumer electronics, payment terminals, or industrial equipment.
- Basic awareness of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety principles.
- Familiarity with Excel or an interest in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
- Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and motivation to develop a career in electronics repair, engineering, or technical support.
- Strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach to solving technical problems.
