Job summary

 

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Field Manager to join our team. The Field Manager will be responsible for recruiting, engaging, contracting, training, and supervising our Field Representatives, ensuring efficient on-site operations, and driving overall field performance.A successful candidate should be an independent thinker with strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ultimately, a top-performing Field Manager is goal-oriented, proactive, and possesses in-depth knowledge of field operations.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Hiring, managing and training a team of Field Representatives.
  • Defining and implementing Supplier Management strategy and assigning territories, schedules, and necessary resources to Field Representatives.
  • Planning and managing logistics and distribution of supplies and equipment to warehouses.
  • Conducting on-site evaluations and performance assessments of Field Representatives.
  • Manage daily Business as Usual including reporting, crisis and escalations management.
  • Generating detailed performance reports, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Monitoring and tracking field progress to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Submitting performance reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that objectives are realistic and aligned with the company's strategic goals.
  • Developing and delivering training programs to enhance the skills of Field Representatives.
  • Enforcing field protocols and compliance standards among Field Representatives.
  • Providing on-call support and assisting Field Representatives when needed.
  • Overseeing fleet vehicle maintenance while ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
  • Defining the budget requirements and collaborating with Finance on monthly P&L reviews.
  • Managing key KPIs (e.g., volumes, SLAs, cost per unit) to meet performance targets.
  • Fostering a positive team environment, encouraging open communication and feedback.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, administration, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree in business administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience in field operations or a related industry.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and field management tools.
  • Fluent in Italian and in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of independent decision-making.
