Your day-to-day responsibilities

 

The candidate will report to the Italy Hub Warehouse and Process Improvement Manager and will work closely with the EMEA Supply Chain Teams. He/she will focus on plan, implement, and evaluate improvements in business processes and practices. He/she will be accountable to the development of the continuous improvement culture for the whole Supply Chain Hub, facilitates cross-functional team work to achieve objectives and standardize processes by creating and updating the necessary procedures. The candidate will evaluate the effectiveness of the process improvement program and improve the toolset used, he/she will effectively implement strategic business objectives in driving quality and compliance in collaboration with the Quality department.

He/she is also expected to spread the Lean manufacturing culture among colleagues and partners, and apply the main principles and techniques.The resource is expected to challenge conventional thinking and explore different perspectives with key stakeholders, understand needs for data, perform analysis and regular reporting for the Supply Chain.

Main focus


The candidate will have a global overview on the EMEA Supply Chain and will be accountable for:

  • Process analysis
  • Process optimization
  • Continuous improvement with a Lean view
  • Procedures standardization
  • Coding for an internal tool used to optimize processes
     

Essential duties and responsibilities 

 

  • Achieve business goals by developing and implementing process improvements.
  • Create efficiencies inside the site with a focus on continuous improvements.
  • Monitor and routinely report out on process performance and improvements in key metrics.
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate process improvement projects with cross functional teams.
  • Determine project scopes and schedules based on business requirements.
  • Optimize or redesign process flows to meet project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a list of ongoing Process Improvement projects and track them.
  • Provide support and guidance to the teams when needed.
  • Maintain and update all process related procedures.
  • Spread and apply the Lean culture.
  • Train resources in process improvement techniques.
  • Work with management to define the short and long-term objectives and potential gains.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and solve issues that arise, and escalate if necessary.
  • Program the internal developed tool to maintain updated its features and implement the new business requirements (coding skills are not mandatory but it is necessary to have basic knowledge to learn how the program is made).

  • Maintains best practices to develop data, analysis and standard processes
