QA Engineer (9 months | Maternity cover)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Project Manager to understand features and establish tests strategy (unit, integration)
  • Assess test effort and establish test plans
  • Coordinate with development group for continuous validation (unit tests)
  • Support automation team to develop automation tool, or ability to develop automation test is a plus
  • Solution delivery to customer: Help customer to understand clearly our solution, its features and feel free to work with
  • Manage release identification and validation (CI)
  • Testing software/POS application/TMS, solutions functionality to ensure it follows customer’s requirements and free of bug
  • System/ Server:  analysis & integrate, POS integration with Bank's system
  • Technical support for end-user (POS applications, TMS, solutions, issue/bug)

 

Key Performance Objectives/Indicators:

  • Technical deliverables consistent with planned feature set
  • Achieve QA KPI
  • Workload estimates can be relied on for project planning
  • Customers support 

 

SKILLS/COMPETENCY SPECIFICATION

Competency/Skill Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge base of Quality Control & Quality Assurance
  • Hand-on experience in testing mobile applications, especially Android apps
  • Good knowledge of SQL or equivalent Database
  • Good knowledge of Web/Host protocols
  • Good knowledge or experience of encryption methods is a plus
  • Be able to self-study & investigate technical issues in a certain period of time
  • High-level analytical skills
  • Critical & creative thinker
  • Be active & good at teamwork
  • Good at problem solving
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Payment domain (EMV, QR, ISO8583, etc.) is a plus

 

Languages:

  • Basic communication

 

Education Qualifications / Experience Requirements:

  • Degree in of Mathematics and Computer Science, IT-Software technology
  • Background knowledge: IT, Android, embedded devices, network, Window/Unix platform.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
