ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

 

The primary objective of this role is to build and nurture long-term relationships with B&A and retail customers to drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth. As the key point of contact for all products and services, this position is responsible for increasing demand by enhancing the visibility and profile of the organization's offerings.

 

Key responsibilities include overseeing both direct and indirect sales channels, securing contracts with customers, merchants, companies, and integrators, and collaborating with marketing teams to manage pricing, training programs, market segmentation, and product launches. Additionally, the role involves identifying new business opportunities and fostering the introduction of innovative solutions to meet evolving customer needs.

 

 

 WHAT YOU’LL DO

 

  • Sales Performance Management: Own and drive performance monitoring for sales representatives, ensuring individual and team targets are met.
  • Sales Funnel & Pipeline Management: Oversee and optimize the sales funnel and pipeline, ensuring alignment with sales quotas and revenue goals.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Provide accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and performance insights to senior management.
  • Client & Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners, ensuring satisfaction and continued business growth.
  • Sales Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support the sales team to achieve both individual and collective sales objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with support teams to align product offerings, anticipate market shifts, and ensure successful service delivery.
  • Market & Competitor Insight: Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Client Engagement: Proactively engage, negotiate, and manage relationships with retail clients, delivering tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Business Development: Lead business development efforts through a structured process, identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Retail Coverage: Ensure strong presence and strategic relationships across retailer tiers 1, 2, and 3.
  • New Distribution Channels: Identify and develop new distribution channels to expand market reach.
  • Contract Negotiation & Formalization: Negotiate and formalize contracts with customers, end users, and integrators, securing new business opportunities and driving revenue growth.
  • Client Feedback & Service Improvement: Develop strong, loyal client relationships, gather feedback, and collaborate with marketing teams to enhance service offerings.

 

 

 

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
  • Experience: 7-10 years of professional experience in sales or business development.
  • Sales Experience: Proven experience in B2B or B2C consultative sales, with a strong ability to engage clients and drive solutions-based selling.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with technology and financial services products is essential, as candidates must be able to communicate effectively about these topics.
  • Results-Driven Leadership: Skilled in negotiation, achieving targets, and guiding teams to success.
  • Effective Communication & Influence: Clear communicator, persuasive, and able to build strong relationships.
  • Self-Motivation & Integrity: Continuously develops skills, remains goal-oriented, and maintains transparency.
  • Consultative Selling & Account Management: Expert in tailoring solutions and managing high-value client relationships.
