ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading the company's Repair Service Center operations while ensuring effective oversight of warehouse, inventory, and logistics activities supporting the after-sales service organization.

The role oversees the diagnosis, repair, refurbishment, testing, and quality assurance of payment devices under warranty and out-of-warranty programs, while also ensuring efficient inventory management, spare parts availability, warehouse operations, and reverse logistics processes.

Working closely with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Operations teams, this position drives operational excellence, customer satisfaction, cost control, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives. Although the primary focus of the role is the management and optimization of repair operations, the position also provides strategic oversight of warehouse and inventory processes through the support of an experienced warehouse team member.

This position is 100% onsite, office location is Siporex 2, Alce Blanco, 53370 Naucalpan de Juárez.

 

 

 WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead Repair Operations: Manage all repair center activities including troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, refurbishment, software configuration, testing, quality validation, and service delivery for payment terminals and related devices.
  • Drive Operational Performance: Ensure achievement of service level agreements (SLAs), turnaround time (TAT), quality, productivity, throughput, cost, and customer satisfaction objectives across repair and logistics operations.
  • Manage Warehouse and Inventory Operations: Provide leadership and oversight of warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, spare parts management, picking, shipping, and reverse logistics processes while ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient material flow.
  • Lead and Develop Teams: Coach, mentor, and develop repair technicians, warehouse personnel, and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure Quality, Compliance, and Security: Maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, quality standards, safety regulations, and inventory control procedures. Lead corrective actions and risk mitigation initiatives when necessary.
  • Manage Spare Parts and Asset Control: Oversee forecasting, inventory planning, consumption monitoring, cycle count programs, and spare parts availability to support repair operations while optimizing working capital and minimizing obsolescence.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Stakeholders: Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Procurement, Finance, and Regional Leadership teams to resolve operational challenges and improve business performance.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead Lean, Six Sigma, automation, digitalization, and process optimization projects aimed at improving service quality, operational efficiency, inventory performance, and customer experience.

 

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

 

  • Strong expertise in electronics repair, diagnostics, troubleshooting, technical service operations, and repair center/depot management.
  • Experience leading technical service organizations, manufacturing operations, assembly/customization processes, and multidisciplinary operational teams.
  • Solid knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, spare parts planning, and supply chain/material flow management.
  • Experience managing warranty and out-of-warranty service programs while maintaining high customer satisfaction and operational performance.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, including SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and related business platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Proven ability to manage operational KPIs, performance metrics, budgets, cost controls, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise, including operational transformation and organizational change initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and leadership at multiple organizational levels.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Customer-focused, results-driven leader with advanced English and Spanish communication abilities.

 

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical service, manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience with responsibility for operational performance.
  • Experience leading technical and logistics teams in electronics, manufacturing, telecom, payment technology, or other high-tech environments.
  • Lean Six Sigma, APICS, or similar certification preferred.
  • Proficient with ERP systems and operational reporting tools.
