Summary:
The Record to Report Process Senior Analyst is responsible to support the continuous improvement of the

Record to Report (R2R) function, including developing and implementing policies, improving processes &

workflows, defining and measuring SLAs and other KPIs, implementing systems and other enabling

technologies at Ingenico's in the North Cone Region; specifically for Miami, Canada Colombia, and Costa Rica. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with in-depth knowledge of the R2R function, proactive, self-starter that is inquisitive, takes ownership, and wants to grow their personal and professional skills in a hyper-accelerated environment.

 

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities (5-7):

  • Actively contributes with daily activities, pre-close and month end closing processes. Acts as reviewer of Journal entries and account reconciliations in daily and close processes of other analysts.
  • Complies and ensures the operation is aligned with company’s policies and procedures.
  • Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules.
  • Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.
  • Provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget.
  • Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements and reports.

 

 


Competencies / Skills Requirements:

  • Proficient in Excel (Intermediate to Advanced, VLookups, Pivot Tables, etc.) and other MS Office applications
  • Excellent understanding of R2R processes using SAP and their associated risks and mitigating internal controls.
  • Proficiency with R2R processes and procedures on an international level (specifically experience with Miami, Canada,  and Colombia)
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills required.
  • Ability to work independently, creatively, and efficiently.
  • Positive attitude, customer centric mind-set and willingness to go the extra mile to meet organizational goals
  • Executes the day-to-day activities according to the highest standards of financial control, compliance and best practices.
  • Meets deadlines and demonstrates high quality when processing core activities such as taxes, period-end adjustments, financial reporting and treasury (cash and investments).
  • Partners effectively with stakeholders to achieve common goals; engages team members and leverages team knowledge.

 

 


Supervisory Responsibility:

  • Participates and may lead local and regional processes improvement initiatives. Pleno and Junior analysts on identifying and managing process improvement projects.
  • Demonstrates coaching, supervision and motivation skills while maintaining an open and approachable style

 

Required Education / Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with concentration in Accounting or Finance..
  • More than 5 years of experience supervising a team, Financial Reporting, general ledger  maintenance, financial close, full balance sheet review, tax accounting and filing, treasury, etc. in a finance shared services environment.
