Warehouse Operations Data Analyst

This role combines application development, database management, and data analytics skills to ensure reliable data, efficient tools, and meaningful KPIs that support and monitor operational performance across the organization.

 

Main Responsibilities

Applications & Systems Development

  • Manage, maintain, and develop internal applications used by the ITA Hub.
  • Implement new functionalities and continuously improve existing tools.
  • Develop and maintain MySQL databases supporting business applications through PHP development.
  • Ensure the reliability and efficiency of internal systems and tools.
  • Provide user support and troubleshoot operational issues when required.

Data Analysis, Reporting & KPI Management

  • Collect, process, and analyze data from company systems and operational processes.
  • Develop KPIs to monitor logistics and warehouse performance, including cost recharges, carrier performance, and internal process efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel.
  • Prepare regular reports, analyses, and presentations for management.
  • Ensure the quality, consistency, accuracy, and reliability of data used in business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions.

 

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Management Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Alternatively, a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar Data Analysis, Reporting, Business Systems, or Programming role.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Good knowledge of Power BI.
  • Good knowledge of SQL / MySQL.
  • Experience developing and maintaining applications using PHP.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and data management principles.
  • Knowledge of SAP is considered a strong advantage.

 

Languages

  • Fluent Italian (mandatory).
  • Good command of English (mandatory).
