Who is Program Manager?

Program Manager is the sole owner to create, organize and coordinate technology delivery programs under Service Delivery framework defined by the COO. This role will provide strategic guidance to all stakeholders and project managers in ways that promote the company’s culture and mission to transform S/W Application development to long term growing Recurring service business lines.

Broadly this role outlines the following activities:

  • Solely owns the Program Delivery function for the solution based service business line
  • Designs new Solution programs in discussion with Product, R&D and Service Teams
  • Responsible for collaborating with multiple stake holders to get all related projects delivered.
  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities for the entire program roll out
  • Apply best practices of change, risk and resource management
  • Developing a deep understanding of projects to gain insights into the scope of service delivery
  • Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI
  • Allocate and control company resources as they relate to individual programs as well as the country business as a whole
  • Masters and controls crisis management practices and is responsible to plug any gaps along with Product and Service Delivery teams

The ideal candidate will be an excellent collaborator and mastermind of Key technology solutions that are crafted to produce path breaking experience for product usage and customer experience. This person will be adept in managing multiple stakeholder relationships and also guide and manage the individual project teams to achieve the Program objectives.

 They will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics to create successful and synchronised relationships with customers, partners and their product and technology teams.

The goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable growth and diversification to technology service business line and aid Professional services revenue for the Business unit.


  • Owns the technology program construct and is the key contributor and architect of the technology program
  • Create program initiatives that help our clients succeed over their competition and draw new customers to their businesses
  • Create projects’ detailed scoping and controls the end objective of the Program
  • Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Breaks down a larger goal into smaller deliverables and then tracks with the product and project delivery teams for meeting the target timelines
  • Creates value selling pitches for each program for the client and creates win-win proposition for any new implementation.
  • Controls end to end Program documentation and upgrades them for all references, from time to time as the project progresses and evolves.
  • Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment and information along with Service Delivery teams
  • Visit clients’ businesses on-site and conduct interviews with key personnel to identify specific needs as and when required and performs timely reviews of running programs
  • Lead and work along with project managers undertaking various customer deliveries
  • Solely responsible to manage the Partners / vendors technology teams and team members to deliver the individual project/ program objectives.
  • Publishes periodic reports to monitor the performance of the programs for each client.
  • Closely monitor Projects in line with Business opportunities logged in CRM / Salesforce for each customer/ program
  • Manages the End to End Program / project delivery timeline in close co-ordination with India R&D, Customer and Partner technology teams.
  • Assists the R&D teams for external stakeholder support for activities like Client side UAT and certification in order to meet the product / program qualification with the end customer/ partner

Skiils and Proficiencies

  • BSc/B Tech in Computer Science / Electronics / Management /  or equivalent and  Masters / MBA is complementary
  • Total Experience of 10-12 years and above in Technology Solutions Delivery
  • Proven experience of 6+ years as a Program Manager or Equivalent Client delivery Function
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and tools
  • Working knowledge of Project management tools like JIRA
  • Technical knowledge of JAVA, Python, C, C++, and constructing APIs is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project is a strong advantage
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills with a Go-Getter Attitude
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Capability to think out of the box solutions in a dynamically changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
