SDK Support Software Engineer (Java/Kotlin developer)

The developer support engineer shall provide SW support for partners in Eastern Europe and Middle East and Africa on developers’ products provided by Ingenico (SDK).

 

Main responsibilities:

· Consultation and support of partners for products which are used by developers in EE and MEA region (SDK, payment kernels, communication libraries, development tools, server solutions).

· Technical support for certifications with payment systems (MasterCard, VISA etc.) including software packages, configuration profiles, certification applications & reports.

· Software delivery: packages preparation and deliveries using online tools

· Training for partners: on-site or remote training is necessary to be provided from time to time to our partners on Ingenico products

· Application code modification according to specification, bug fixing.

· Technical support on site when requested during UAT or pilot rollouts.

· Proactive and friendly interaction with customers: information on new SW deliveries, software roadmaps

· Writing documentation (manuals, installation & maintenance instructions)

 

Requirements:

· Knowledge of Android programming languages (java, Kotlin) is a must, C or C++ is an advantage

· Good knowledge of at least one major IDE (Android development studio ideally).

· Knowledge of REST interface

· Experience in technical support role would be beneficial, but not mandatory

· Previous experience in Payment industry would be beneficial

· Basic overview of cryptography and PKI

· Good knowledge in software engineering field

· Good knowledge of principals of telecommunication networks and equipment functionality

· Excellent communication skills with ability to work with different nationalities

· Able to work under pressure

· Fluent English (B2-C1)
