This is a hybrid role requiring regular presence in our Sofia office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with product, UI/UX and development teams to design user interfaces for our strategic cloud platform. This will include broad scope across payment applications and device management solutions.
- Run the cloud product portfolio design system, ensuring UX and UI consistency and alignment with guidelines. Drive the adoption of a focused design system and collaborate with peers teams to drive UX and UI consistency and alignment.
- Collaborate with developers and fellow design colleagues to ensure feasibility and seamless implementation of designs.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies, providing design insights and feedback to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Act as the bridge between design and development, fostering shared ownership and long-term scalability.
- Identify technical and design constraints with team documentation of foundations and components
- Promote accessibility and reduce tech/design debt, oversee component approval, design system roadmap, design standard ownership
- Build comprehensive UI/UX design assets, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, ready for development.
- Communicate design decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field. Advanced degrees a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in a UI/UX design role [of at least 4 years] within an agile environment. Preference for experience leading Design System execution and adoption across teams.
- Professional qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of UI design principles and best practices, including accessibility.
- Proficiency in Figma and its latest features. Experience with design systems, including Maestro.
- Familiarity with working and contributing to an established design system.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS & SASS. Understanding of React framework would be a plus.
- Understanding front-end development needs and how to design and document for those needs.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-platform compatibility.
- Comfortable with remote work and virtual collaboration in a global context

- Ability to quickly learn new concepts & technologies
- High communication skills, capable of articulating design concepts clearly and persuasively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Language skills: Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
