Scope

 

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will hold a direct and pivotal role in the analysis and reporting of Ingenico financial statements. The position will involve working on various financial subjects, including P&L, FCF, and BS, with a global scope covering ~60 reporting units. This is a global position with multiple stakeholders, various countries and technical subjects.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Actively contribute to the closing process by providing support to regions on group processes, tools, or ad hoc questions.
  • Play an active role in the production of monthly reporting, offering reliable and consistent analyses to support business decision
  • Analyse and monitor activity through the revenue, margin by product range, customer, and country. Provide accurate analysis on cost base in collaboration with function owner (HR, Finance, IT …) . You will work closely with stakeholders across the world and within our different departments & functions
  • Be an active contributor of the forecasting process with activity such as providing support to region, validating tool evolution
  • Constantly improve our processes to steer our analysis towards impact and action
  • Turn existing time-consuming processes into sustainable and scalable automated tasks when possible
  • Act as the key stakeholder for reporting automation, finance tools improvement, automation of recurring tasks, improvement of forecast quality, etc
  • Provide ad hoc information for key decision making, formulating business strategies, and modelling of financial implications

 

Experience

 

If you have a master’s degree from a business school or university with a major in Finance and a proven experience (5 or 6 years) in a FP&A/Controlling role within a complex/multi-site organization, you may be a great fit for us.

Familiarity with financial systems (mainly reporting) is essential as the role implies significant part of data manipulation.

 

Important skills:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent MS office skills (Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Good understanding of financial statements (mainly P&L)
  • Capacity to work with large volume of data with high level of accuracy in the reporting is mandatory
  • Creative approach to problem solving – Result oriented
  • Self-starter, proactive
  • Good capacity of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Great communication skills and good ability to work in a matrix/multi country environment
  • Solid ability to influence and convince your stakeholders
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English
