Main responsibilities

 

  • Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment and perform invoice and general data entry
  • Maintain accounts receivable and payable records, ensuring the correctness and reconciliation of accounting entries
  • Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable
  • Supervise and collect accounts receivable and payable by contacting clients and vendors
  • Perform inventory management and cost accounting
  • Take care of monthly and quarterly closing activities
  • Perform asset management
  • Ensure Intercompany reconciliation
  • Be in charge of payroll registration and reconciliation
  • Support the other accounting team and CFO drafting of the statutory financial statement
  • Collaborate with the CFO in relations with auditors and tax consultants
  • Reply on audit requests

 

Signs of success:

  • Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of payments and customer accounts
  • Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts receivable and payable process identifying areas of performance improvement
  • Strengthen and grow relationships with vendors, suppliers and clients through timely payment
  • Communicate discrepancies to management team, identify slow-paying customers, and recommend collection candidates

 

Profile

 

You have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or any related field and you have some experience in multinational contexts. You speak English and Polish at very good level.

 

Meaningful skills :

  • Sophisticated skills in accounting and finance
  • Good knowledge of IFRS and Polish Gaap.
  • SAP and Excel at advanced knowledge
  • Accuracy, analysis and deadline management skills and very much detailed-oriented
  • Strong analytical and communication skills and ability to act proactively
  • Ability to manage the intrinsic stress of a rapidly changing environment
