Job summary
You will join a team of software experts, based in France on 2 sites : Suresnes and Valence. The team currently provides the software technical support to all Ingenico local support teams regarding the Tetra terminals. The support is mainly related to the Tetra SDK but also relates to the add-ons, tools such as IngeDev (Ingenico IDE) or LLT.
You will help Regions (local support teams) answer customers' questions. You will also help them on software development, replicate customer issues seen in his lab or on the field (shops) and deliver Software : SDK, patches, add-ons or tools. Overall, the aim is to help the final customer and unlock the Ingenico business.
You will have interactions with :
- R&D software and R&D hardware teams.
- Local support teams
- Product Marketing team
Main responsibilities
- Provide technical support on the Unattended Ingenico devices. All requests are logged in a JIRA tickets tool.
- Provide answers to the questions raised by the Level 1 Software local support teams based in all the Ingenico Regions.
- Analyze the terminal traces and terminal diagnostic files, to try to identify the root cause of issues.
- Develop some software samples helping to replicate the Regions or customers issues.
- Write technical notes.
Profile
You are a computer science engineer with 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
Important technical skills :
- Development in C and C++.
- Knowledge of the Self service (vending machines, transport,..) environment.
"Nice-to-have" technical/industry knowledge:
- To have payment knowledge and already know the Ingenico devices.
- To have radio skills (2G,3G,4G and Bluetooth)
Other meaningful skills :
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Problem solver !
- Abe to work and collaborate in a multicultural environment with people based in different locations across the globe
- Strong curiosity, searching technical information every day and developing software samples replicating the customer issues.
