The Mission

Every payment terminal we ship goes through your hands first. You're the voice of the very first customer — the one who finds the edge cases, breaks the assumptions, and raises the flag before it matters most. Your work directly shapes the quality and reliability of products used by merchants across the globe.

 

Your Journey at Ingenico — Two Phases, One Clear Path:

 Phase 1 · Alpha Testing (from day one, lab-based) You'll work closely with R&D to stress-test our PoS terminals and payment solutions before they ever leave the building. → Design and execute manual & automated test plans → Hunt down bugs, reproduce them, and document everything → Manage Jira tickets and track issues end-to-end → Deliver detailed reports in weekly quality reviews

Phase 2 · Beta Testing (after 6–12 months, out in the field) As your product knowledge deepens, you'll take your mission out of the lab and into real merchant environments. → Deploy and install PoS terminals on-site → Configure solutions for each unique merchant use case → Be the on-call expert when things go sideways → Collect field logs and data to feed R&D improvements.From the beta phase, on-call support will be required, as the service runs 7 days a week (8:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.), including phone support and occasional on-site interventions within a 50 km radius of Valence.

What You'll Bring

Technical skills: Networks (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, GPRS, DHCP, Firewall) · Test tools (Jira, Xray/Testlink) · Test automation · Power BI / databases · Payment process knowledge · Root cause analysis

The mindset we're looking for: You're naturally curious — you always want to know why. You're methodical, autonomous, and equally comfortable working alone in a lab or troubleshooting face-to-face with a merchant. Adaptable, assertive, and a clear communicator.

Profile

  • Bac+2 in IT, electronics, or a technical field
  • Experience in R&D, Support, or IT
  • Familiar with quality processes and reporting tools
