Role overview
The Business Controller partners with the Business Transformation Officer (BTO) and cross functional leaders to provide financial insight, ensure sound business planning, and drive the success of Ingenico's transformation initiatives. You will own budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking for the portfolio of transformation projects, acting as the single point of truth for financials.
Key responsibilities
• Build and maintain the BTO project portfolio budget, forecasts and long range plan.
• Challenge business cases, validate savings / investment assumptions, and recommend improvements.
• Monitor project actuals vs budget, analyse variances, and present findings to senior management.
• Design and automate dashboards and KPIs for cost, benefits realisation, and ROI.
• Partner with PMO leads to ensure financial risks & opportunities are identified early.
• Support month end close and reporting cycles related to transformation spend.
• Drive continuous improvement of controlling processes, tools and internal controls.
• Act as finance ambassador for transformation governance and ad hoc analyses.
Required qualifications & skills
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience in business controlling, FP&A or finance business partnering, ideally in technology, payments or consulting environments.
• Strong grasp of project accounting, budgeting and ROI methodologies.
• Advanced Excel and BI tool skills (TM1, PowerBI...); experience with SAP or similar ERP.
• Ability to translate data into clear stories and actionable recommendations.
• Fluent in English; French a plus.
